Yes indeed at Tony’s next to the Rave at Destin Commons.
They are like thin sliced potato chips with Blue cheese cream sauce and gorgonzola
cheese on top. Very nice with a white summer wine with hints of citrus.
A nice snack when watching the rave crowd which is the most unusual “fashion show” on the coast.

I just happen to be in the right spot and was personally invited to join a friend and attend a very informal writer’s group.
Now, I have never professionally or otherwise written anything that I believe people would pay good money to read, but that is one of my secret dreams. I think watching Sex and the City for the entire three or four year episodes left me longing to be able to put my thoughts on paper and make it so interesting that others would be yearning to read the next paragraph.
There is so much power in words, and it is true that the written word is assumed to be the truth. The group was a total of eight interesting souls who ranged from professional writers to myself. It was electrifying to hear some speak of their “publishers” and others discussing how to get their manuscripts to “people in the know”. This small group has inspired me to the extent that, I went home and the very next morning sat down and began to write a short story.
I am now thinking about trying to turn it into a short book. Who knows, maybe even a short novel. If anyone out there has been secretly dreaming of writing the next “Harry Potter”, come and join us. We, and I like that sound, we meet the second Tuesday of the month at the Great Southern Cafe in Seaside around 5:00 pm. You might even see Ernest in the background with his Fidora and a small notebook in hand.

This is wonderful.!! 30A has become a culinary mecca. We have another interesting restaurant that has opened called FIRE. The owner is from New Orleans, and has created a cozy little spot on Clayton Ln. which is near the Grayton Corner of Co. Hwy 283 and 30A. I was only able to stop briefly the other evening, because I wanted to see if it was open and what type of cusine. This is another very chicy place, with white table clothes and glowing candles. They will be open 7 days a week and will also serve lunch. Why don’t you try it and give me a revue? Wowie…..we will probably never have to leave 30A soon. All of life can exist up and down this gorgeous road.

So the good news is….. There is no direction to go but up!
I have spoken to a couple of property specialists lately and their statements reflect that we have hit bottom.
30% off the highs. A strong correction yes but by no means a crash.
So …. time to start looking for those bargins…..
